A Snapshot of Your Day

Imagine stepping into a pivotal role at Siemens Energy, where you will directly contribute to the operational efficiency of our Valve Engineering competency hub in Painted Post. As a key player, you will support the execution of customer order bookings and newly deployed valve developments, focusing on product design engineering and technical order execution. Your expertise will drive modernization projects for our reciprocating compressor service fleet, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions that align with manufacturing and assembly standards.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will perform engineering calculations and material selection for valve components, ensuring mechanical integrity and optimal performance.

  • Check drawings and design documents for accuracy, ensuring compliance with standard drafting and engineering practices.

  • Update product designs to meet current engineering, manufacturing, and assembly standards, optimizing cost and lead times.

  • Support customer order bookings related to valve upgrades and modernization projects, verifying compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide technical engineering support to manufacturing, supply chain, and customer technical support departments, collaborating closely with the Painted Post facility.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering preferred. Relatedengineering discipline may be considered.

  • At least 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in reciprocating gas compressors or the oil and gas industry. Thosewith more years of experience may be considered for a more senior level.

  • Your skills include mechanical product design, CAD proficiency, and engineering calculations.

  • You are knowledgeable in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and familiar with oil and gas industry standards.

  • You possess strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, along with experience in SAP and PLM (Product Lifecyle Management) systems.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
