Head Coach / Assistant Studio Manager Orangetheory Fitness Be Fit. Change Lives. Build a Career. Orangetheory Fitness is looking for a passionate, driven fitness leader to join our team as a Head Coach / Assistant Studio Manager. This is a dual leadership role for someone who loves coaching, developing people, building relationships, and driving business results. You’ll lead the fitness team, create an exceptional member experience, and help the studio grow. Compensation & Schedule

  • $60,000 annual salary

• Full-time: 40 hours per week, including coaching hours

  • Expected to coach an average of 14 classes per week

What You'll Do Coaching & Fitness Leadership

  • Coach high-energy Orangetheory workouts for members of all fitness levels.

  • Deliver effective exercise demonstrations, coaching, cueing, and modifications.

  • Lead and develop the studio's coaching team.

  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and ongoing coach development.

  • Maintain high standards for coaching quality, safety, and member experience.

Team & Business Leadership

  • Help drive membership growth, retention, utilization, and revenue.

  • Support sales, lead generation, community outreach, and studio events.

  • Build strong relationships with members and team members.

  • Monitor key performance metrics and help develop strategies to achieve goals.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.

Studio Operations

  • Assist with daily studio operations and leadership.

  • Manage coaching schedules and fitness-related systems.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and member-ready studio.

  • Ensure fitness staff certifications and required documentation remain current.

  • Support coach coverage and studio needs when necessary.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in personal training, group fitness, or the fitness industry.

  • Current nationally accredited personal training or group exercise certification (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA, NCSF, etc.).

  • Current CPR/AED certification.

  • Strong knowledge of exercise technique, physiology, and functional training.

  • Group fitness experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in an exercise-related field preferred.

  • Orangetheory experience is preferred.
