Full job description

Dansville CSD is seeking highly qualified candidates to apply for the following position.

Minimum Salary: $50,700 (Step 1 with Master's Degree)

*Salary will be regionally competitive and commensurate with education level and years of experience.

Typical Job Responsibilities:

Assessment & Evaluation

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students

  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and support teams as needed

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records

Consultation & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

  • Provide consultation on instructional strategies, behavior management, and mental health supports

  • Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team to monitor student progress and develop interventions.

Prevention & Systems Support

  • Implement short-term crisis intervention and support services.

  • Develop and oversee behavior intervention plans in collaboration with school staff.

  • Support school-wide initiatives related to positive behavior, social-emotional learning, and mental health awareness.

Meeting Leadership, Communication & Coordination

  • Facilitate CPSE and CSE meetings to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (IDEA and NYS Part 200).

  • Guide the committee through the process of reviewing evaluations, determining eligibility, and developing IEPs.

  • Coordinating and leading the preschool evaluation team

  • Facilitating Early Intervention to CPSE transition planning and coordination services for preschool students.
