Dansville CSD is seeking highly qualified candidates to apply for the following position.

Minimum Salary: $50,700 (Step 1 with Master's Degree)
*Salary will be regionally competitive and commensurate with education level and years of experience.
Typical Job Responsibilities:
Assessment & Evaluation
-
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
-
Collaborate with school staff, families, and support teams as needed
-
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Consultation & Collaboration
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
-
Provide consultation on instructional strategies, behavior management, and mental health supports
-
Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team to monitor student progress and develop interventions.
Prevention & Systems Support
-
Implement short-term crisis intervention and support services.
-
Develop and oversee behavior intervention plans in collaboration with school staff.
-
Support school-wide initiatives related to positive behavior, social-emotional learning, and mental health awareness.
Meeting Leadership, Communication & Coordination
-
Facilitate CPSE and CSE meetings to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (IDEA and NYS Part 200).

Guide the committee through the process of reviewing evaluations, determining eligibility, and developing IEPs.

Coordinating and leading the preschool evaluation team
-
Facilitating Early Intervention to CPSE transition planning and coordination services for preschool students.
