RaceTrac Company Overview

Job Description: The Procurement Sourcing Analyst acts as an internal consultant collaborating with assigned internal business units to source and recommend the best solution for materials, equipment, supplies, and/or services. The Analyst manages the Strategic Sourcing Process from Initiation to the final recommendation to the internal business unit decision maker. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Carries out end-to-end sourcing lifecycle activities
  • Provides analytical data and information to support procurement initiatives
  • Performs market research to identify potential suppliers
  • Provides analytics to aid in contract negotiations
  • Assists in contract negotiations
  • Makes recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from 4-year College or University
  • Experience in a project management environment – preferably working with large projects collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Comfortability with reviewing, managing, and interpreting large and/or complex data sets
  • A communication style that can adjust to people at various levels and functions within the organization as well as externally; the ability to convey complex information in a way that is easily understood by the receiving audience
  • Comfortability handling multiple concurrent projects
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Proven success building impactful relationships with current and potential business partners both internally and externally
