QI Specialist - Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC)
Seacoast Mental Health Center
Educational/Experience Requirements:
Minimum of BS/BS, MA/MS preferred in Human Services or related field and at least 2 years’ experience in a Community Mental Health Center or mental health or healthcare setting or commensurate experience relevant to expectations of the position.
Tasks:

Knowledge and understanding of SMHC policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and/or regulations and payer standards related to compliance, documentation, confidentiality, and performance.

Update and maintain the SMHC Clinical Services Policy and Procedure Manual to assure that SMHC has established and documented policies, procedures, workflows, and reporting structures required to meet CCBHC certification standards.

Ensure readiness for external audits, site reviews, and regulatory oversight related to CCBHC certifications.

Assist in the development and implementation of long-term sustainability strategies to integrate CCBHC initiatives into ongoing operations.

Identify risks, system gaps, and operational barriers; develop corrective action plans to maintain compliance and improve performance.

Participate in monthly Quality Improvement Committee meetings and carry out responsibilities related to the work of the committee.

Participate in QI Department activities and responsibilities including but not limited to:
a. Be available to assist the VP-QC, Program Assistants, Medical Records, and other staff and leadership as needed.
b. Compliance Committee
c. Pharmacy Committee
d. EHR Workgroup
