Veteran Intern (General Office Assistant) Office of Organizational Development

This is a contracted appointment that may last up to two years in duration. Paid internships occur throughout the State of Michigan. Assist with acknowledgment programs and with registering participants in the Technical Training Program. Provide support to the Horatio S. Earle Learning Center (HSELC) by answering telephones, sending and receiving emails and faxes, and assisting walk-in customers and guests with conference room reservations. Reserve, maintain, and offer customer assistance for audio-visual (AV) equipment in each conference room, as well as computers in the training labs. Monitor conference room schedules, assist with the movement of wall panels, and open and close the center as needed. Provide general administrative support and perform other duties as assigned. Employee works out of the official workstation at the Horatio S. Earle Center, with the understanding when operational needs require they may work out of out of the Van Wagoner Building.

Preferred Education: Education typically acquired through completion of high school. Preferred Experience: No specific type or amount of experience is required. To be considered for this position you must:
