We are currently seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Resources Department. As a Recruitment Specialist, you’ll work directly with individuals to assess their needs, develop personalized care plans, and connect them with essential services and supports. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team that values your expertise, supports your growth, and empowers you to make a real difference in your community. Key Responsibilities

  • Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.

  • Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.

  • Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.

  • Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.

  • Posts new job openings and manages job requisitions across internal and external job boards to attract qualified candidates.

  • Reviews incoming resumes and applications; screens candidates for qualifications, experience, and fit against position requirements.

  • Schedules and conducts interviews with candidates; coordinates interview panels with hiring managers and supervisors as needed.

  • Evaluates candidates throughout the selection process and makes recommendations to hiring managers regarding advancement or offers.

  • Extends employment offers and coordinates pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, and reference verification.

  • Manages new hire paperwork, ensures completion of required documentation, and coordinates onboarding logistics prior to an employee’s start date.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; two (2) years of recruiting or Human Resources experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of interviewing techniques, applicant tracking systems, and current recruiting practices and trends.

  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment law as it relates to hiring and selection, including Equal Employment Opportunity Commission regulations.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume candidate pipeline.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with applicant tracking systems and the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Valid driver’s license and car insurance as required by State law, and reliable transportation to drive to other CareStar locations, as business requires.
