Journeyman Electrician | Training & Mentorship Role

  • Hybrid Schedule (1 Week Onsite / 1 Week Remote)

  • $75,000–$80,000 per year + Travel Incentives + Full Benefits

Are you a Journeyman Electrician ready to elevate your career? This is your opportunity to transition from the field into a respected NCCER Electrical Trainer role—developing the next generation of skilled electricians in the fast-growing renewable energy sector.

No prior teaching experience? No problem. We provide full NCCER Instructor Certification training and ongoing support to set you up for success. All travel expenses are covered.

This role offers a hybrid schedule:

  • One week onsite working with apprentices

  • The following week working remotely from home delivering virtual instruction

What You’ll Do

  • Train and support electrical apprentices

  • Provide hands-on instruction during onsite weeks

  • Deliver virtual instruction during remote weeks

  • Prepare apprentices for OSHA-10 and NCCER

  • Track skill development and progress

  • Travel as needed (approximately 50%)

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as an electrician

  • Strong construction background required

  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred

  • Prior NCCER credentials (Instructor/Proctor/Coordinator) a plus

  • Solar, utility, or substation experience preferred

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

  • Comfortable with basic technology and virtual instruction platforms
