LOCATION:Bemus Point Elementary School in Bemus Point, NY

JOB PAY RATE:$17.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Follows the school calendar

Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:30 am

Afternoon Program: 3:00 - 6:00 pm

Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

About the Role

The Site Director is the heart of a Healthy Kids Programs location. You'll lead the daily operations of the site by creating a safe, engaging program that children love and families trust. You'll support and coach your team, build strong relationships with families and school partners, and ensure the program meets Healthy Kids Programs' quality standards and all licensing requirements.   • Staffing:The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids

  • Compliance:The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given day

  • Inventory:The site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need; nothing runs out mid-week; restocking happens before it becomes a problem

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Candidates may qualify with any of the following:

  • Associate degreein Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related fieldplus2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Two years of collegewith 18 credits in a related fieldplus2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credentialplus 2 years of relevant experience.

  • School-Age Child Care Credentialor equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be medically cleared to perform all job duties and free of communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (TB).

  • Demonstrates a positive, friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with children, parents, and team members.

  • Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct and appearance.

  • Able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, and meet the physical demands of working with children.
