The Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment and facility structures. This role includes ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the building, grounds, and equipment, as well as recommending improvements to optimize operations. The position involves regular interaction with managers, staff, and vendors.

This is a full-time position working 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with on call rotation and monthly extended hours for travel to additional ImpactLife locations for routine maintenance and inspections.

What does this mean for you?

  • Perform competency testing and notify management of non-compliance or safety issues.

  • Support department initiatives, goals, and regulatory compliance in line with ImpactLife’s mission.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and facility issues, both during regular hours and off-hours.

  • Assist with vehicle and grounds maintenance, including snow/ice removal and working with vendors for repairs.

  • Develop and manage equipment inventory, preventive maintenance, and repair programs.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to achieve goals and escalate issues as needed.

  • Drive vehicles (Non-CDL, DOT certified) and ensure maintenance in adverse weather conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in equipment, facilities, or grounds maintenance (preferred).

  • Associate degree in a related field (preferred).

  • Ability to lift to 75 lbs with assistance and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
