As an Ocean Import Coordinator, you will coordinate day-to-day import shipments, process import documentation, and report shipment statuses to respective parties. You will be a partner in our Ocean Import department developing and maintaining good relationships with carriers, truckers, customers, and warehouses.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry handling ocean import or export operations is required.

  • Previous experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.

  • Proven ability to handle high volumes of data entry.

  • Clear and effective communication skills.

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Electronic file management (Arrival Notice generating, 7501, BOL issuing, etc.).

  • Track, trace, and update ocean import containers/shipments in CargoWise One, coordinating with internal and external partners as needed.

  • Communicate shipment delays or documentation issues to clients and overseas agents.

  • Problem resolution between customers, carriers, and vendors.

  • Trace rail shipments to provide final ETA updates and pickup numbers to clients.

  • AWS shipment tracing to provide courtesy last free day notice.

Salary:

  • $22-$28/hour dependent on transferable experience and education level.
