What You’ll Work On

  • Be a Key Team Member: Work alongside Operations to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule.

  • Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose complex equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and repair high-speed filling, packaging, and conveying systems.

  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute PMs, support autonomous maintenance, and plan major repairs during scheduled shutdowns.

  • Fabricate & Upgrade: Design, weld, and install mechanical and electronic components; perform PLC program changes and maintain AC drive systems.

  • Collaborate & Improve: Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to implement design changes and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Train & Mentor: Share your expertise with peers and provide technical guidance to improve team capabilities.

  • Ensure Compliance: Follow GMP, FDA, USDA, OSHA, and company safety standards in all tasks.

Shift

Please note: This is a 12-hour Night shift position from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and allows you to have every other weekend off.

Shift Pattern:

  • Week 1: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)

  • Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)

  • Week 3: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)

  • Week 4: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.

  • 2+ years of multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, and fabrication.

  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and use precision tools.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a regulated manufacturing work environment

The base pay for this position is $20.85 – $41.75 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
