Customer Technical Support Specialist

Quakertown, PA | $24/hour | 1st Shift | Onsite

About the Role

Adecco is hiring a Customer Technical Support Specialist for a growing team in Quakertown, PA. This is primarily a customer service and support role focused on helping customers troubleshoot specialized equipment, software, and hardware.

You do not need to come from a traditional IT background, but you should have some technical troubleshooting experience and be comfortable working through problems with customers. Experience supporting equipment, technology, or other technical products is a plus.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM EST

Pay: $24/hour

Location: Quakertown, PA, onsite

What You’ll Do

  • Answer inbound customer calls, emails, and chats related to company products

  • Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and equipment issues with customers and service technicians

  • Walk customers through solutions and provide product support and guidance

  • Use remote support tools to assist with troubleshooting when needed

  • Coordinate equipment, software, firmware, and hardware updates

  • Document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the CRM

  • Track product issues and work with internal teams toward resolution

  • Check warranties and orders, coordinate replacement parts, and request technician support when needed

  • Provide basic product training and support to customers

  • Collect information and prepare basic reports for management

  • Work closely with internal departments and external partners to resolve customer concerns

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1-2+ years of customer service, customer support, technical support, or related experience

  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, equipment, or other technical products

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Patient and professional approach to customer interactions

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

  • Comfortable explaining technical information to customers with varying levels of technical knowledge

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel

  • Ability to learn new products, systems, and technology

  • CRM experience preferred

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Experience supporting specialized equipment or technology is a plus

Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
