Director, Clinical Marketing
Job Description:
As a strategic, evidence-driven leader, responsible for shaping how clinical data, scientific insights, and competitive intelligence translate into business impact. Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical, Professional Affairs, and Downstream Marketing to ensure that evidence, spanning ischemic stroke, aneurysm treatment, and access technologies, is transformed into compelling narratives, tools, and programs that elevate the company’s position in a competitive market. Deep familiarity with neurovascular disease states and the ability to understand the nuances of physician decision making and synthesize complex clinical data into clear, differentiated messaging for physicians and commercial teams required. Job duties:
Clinical Strategy & Evidence Integration

Partner with Medical Affairs to define the clinical evidence strategy supporting commercial goals across ischemic, hemorrhagic, and access portfolios.

Identify clinical data gaps that influence adoption and competitive positioning.

Translate neurovascular clinical evidence (RCTs, registries, meta‑analyses, real‑world data) into clear, compelling commercial narratives.

Collaborate with Regulatory and Clinical teams to ensure claims, messaging, and data usage align with regulatory pathways.
Competitive Intelligence & Market Storytelling

Maintain a deep understanding of the neurovascular competitive landscape, including device performance, procedural trends, published studies, and emerging technologies.

Develop competitive battlecards, objection handling tools, and field-ready insights that help commercial teams position products against key competitors in thrombectomy, flow diversion, coiling, and access.

Analyze published neurovascular literature to create concise summaries, messaging frameworks, and evidence-based value stories.

Use data to articulate differentiated clinical and economic value to physicians, administrators, and society stakeholders.
Collateral Development & Commercial Enablement
-
Lead the development of clinical driven marketing collateral, including clinical briefs, evidence compendiums, procedural guides, white papers, and digital content tailored to interventional neuroradiologists and neurosurgeons.

Ensure all materials are clinically accurate, aligned with approved claims, and optimized for commercial impact in the neurovascular space.

Partner with Product Marketing to integrate clinical insights into product positioning, launch materials, and omnichannel campaigns.

Support global teams with adaptable, evidence-based content that reflects regional neurovascular practice patterns.
Professional Affairs, KOL Engagement & Society Support

Collaborate with Professional Affairs to support KOL engagement strategies across neurointerventional societies (e.g., SNIS, ESMINT, LINNC, SVIN).

Prepare internal leaders and external speakers for podium presentations, symposia, and scientific meetings.

Develop speaker decks, data summaries, and messaging guides for KOLs and field educators.

Support planning and execution of major neurovascular congress activities, including booth content, symposia, and clinical messaging.

Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
-
Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in clinical marketing, medical marketing, or evidence driven product marketing within neurovascular, interventional cardiology, neurosurgery, or related medical device fields.
-
Minimum five (5) years of leadership or management experience.
-
Demonstrated ability to interpret clinical data and translate it into compelling commercial messaging.
-
Strong understanding of regulatory and claims frameworks for medical devices.
-
Experience collaborating with Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
-
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex science for diverse audiences.
-
Proven track record of developing competitive tools, clinical collateral, and KOL facing materials.
-
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, cross functional environment with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
-
Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
-
Capable of being equally comfortable discussing clinical endpoints with physicians and crafting messaging for sales teams.

Ability to anticipate competitive moves and proactively equip the organization with insights and tools.

Experience building strong relationships across Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Professional Education.

Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences, clinical research, or related field strongly preferred.
Physical

Extended periods of computer use.

Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, or speaking.

Light lifting, up to 25 lbs.

May be required within the position to be in an environment that can include radiation exposure (such as in Cathlabs).

Extensive domestic and international travel as required, up to 35%.
