LimnoTech has an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be versed in all aspects of Human Resources: Labor Laws, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Recruiting/Onboarding, and Benefits and Compensation. If you enjoy working in a fun, growing environmental consulting firm where you can have a broad impact, this is the role for you. The Human Resources Manager role will be based out of our Ann Arbor, Michigan office. Responsibilities The Human Resources Manager will provide support to LimnoTech leadership and team members located in our offices in MI, MN, DC, and CA, as well as remote locations. Typical job responsibilities include the following, depending on individual ability, skills, and experience:

  • Recruiting and Onboarding

  • Benefits Administration

  • Employee Relations and Compliance

  • Performance Management

  • Human Resources Communication

  • Workforce Culture

  • Compensation/Payroll

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and/or Business

  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources generalist experience; working with a dispersed workforce helpful

  • High emotional intelligence, strong conflict resolution abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong ability to build relationships and provide guidance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint

  • Must be legally able to work in the U.S. for any employer (proper documentation is required).

  • A working knowledge of labor laws in MI, CA, MN, and DC is a plus
