WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement the quality strategy for logistics and distribution in the Electrical Connections segment.

  • Establish a multi-site Quality Management System (QMS) across the global Distribution Center locations.

  • Develop a Quality Playbook for Logistics to standardize processes and drive operational excellence in logistics and distribution.

Complaint Resolution

  • Work with the Customer Service and Logistics teams to drive quick response of customer complaints.

  • Own the resolution of logistics quality issues through an effective root cause and corrective action process.

  • Implement and coordinate a robust containment process for immediate problem response.

Quality Improvement

  • Lead Transportation supplier quality audits and improvement.

  • Integrate quality performance indicators at every DC and drive a Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) process for preventing quality escapes and reducing cost of poor quality.

  • Collaborate with the Logistics Leadership Team to deploy a quality culture that elevates customer experience and operational excellence.

  • Deploy a preventive quality system in logistics, including the use of FMEA, Control Plan, Layered Process Audits, and Error-Proofing.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field; master’s degree preferred.

  • 5+ years in quality engineering roles.

  • 3+ years working with logistics and distribution teams.

  • Proven leadership skills influencing multiple functions in a multi-site environment.

  • Previous experience implementing Quality Management Systems and acquiring or maintaining ISO-9001 or similar certification.

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.

  • Solid understanding of FMEA, Control Plans, and Quality Audits.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills (including RCCA, 8D, and 5-Whys), coupled with collaboration, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Ability to travel Domestically and Internationally up to 30%.
