The ECU Program Acquisition Manager is primarily responsible for the execution and acquisition integration and works with the Business Acquisition Team (BAT) to directly support the F135 ECU program. This includes providing guidance in support of all business acquisition proposals while working with the Program Acquisition Associate Director to lay out strategies for efficient acquisition captures.
The ECU effort will utilize multiple contracts to mature the program through Detailed Design, First Engine to Test (FETT), Initial Flight Release (IFR), Initial Service Release (ISR) and Flight Test. The candidate will be responsible for providing program requirements to the BAT and holding to plan. They will also support negotiations with the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) to support acquisition captures.
The ECU program is a fast-paced, high visibility, time critical, dynamic environment and the selected candidate must be adaptable, able to think critically and strategically, and be able to work in a high-pressure customer-facing position.
What You Will Do:

Develop integration plans and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration into ECU proposals
-
Collaborate closely with proposal manager and program associate directors/program managers to develop capture/win strategy

Collaborate with the finance team to develop and understand financial profitability
-
Lead the proposal review and gated processes with the BACE Proposal Manager
-
Assist in strategy development
-
Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact the proposal’s success and identify mitigating actions and approaches as needed.

Overall accountability for the business acquisition pursuit
-
Cultivate and maintain relationships with external parties as well as internal organizations to meet customer requirements and program objectives
-
Drive improvements throughout the business acquisition gated process to achieve timely contract awards through the gated process

Brief ECU PMO management and secure commitment through the gated process
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
BA/BS in aerospace, engineering, business or related field is required; MBA is a plus
-
A minimum of 10+ years of combined program management, leadership, and/or technical experience required
-
At least 5+ years’ experience with propulsion required
-
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
