Summary of Responsibilities:
About the Role
Join a team that plays a critical role in protecting the electric grid. As a Cybersecurity Intern at ATC, you’ll support our cybersecurity program and gain hands-on experience defending critical infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You’ll work with a team that safeguards ATC’s technology systems, helping ensure the reliable and secure operation of our electric transmission network.
Key Responsibilities

Learn how ATC identifies and responds to cyber threats through phishing and malware detection programs

Assist in applying cybersecurity best practices across systems and business activities

Gain exposure to cybersecurity tools and platforms including:
o SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
o Firewalls
o Intrusion prevention systems
o Malware analysis tools
o Endpoint protection solutions
o Vulnerability management systems

You’re an associate’s or bachelor’s degree student in Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related program

The pay range for this position is $23-27/hr. The pay range is a general guideline. Employment offers are evaluated individually and consider qualifications, experience and academic achievements.
