What you´ll do

  • Provide leadership to R&D site on safety, environmental, and compliance matters.

  • Oversees and controls the implementation of the standards, policies and guidelines related to the topics within the scope of R&D and ensure compliance with local regulations and Henkel correspondent Standards.

  • Has responsibility for internal and external reporting requirements for safety, environmental, and compliance matters.

  • Coordinate Safety Health Environmental (SHE) occupational risk assessments, audits, assessments, certifications, and corrective action programs.

  • Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the R&D SHE Management System.

  • Support incident management, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation.

  • Develop SHE training and capability-building initiatives.

  • Lead Regional SHE projects and stakeholder engagement across R&D.

What makes you a good fit

  • College degree (Masters preferred) in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant SHE experience in R&D, manufacturing, or engineering.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with experience managing and working in cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

  • CSP, CIH, or ISO Lead Auditor certifications preferred.

The salary range for this role is $105,000.00 and $125,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
