Full job description

Description

We're looking for a Supply Chain Manager to own AMXL's forward-looking speed strategy, GVS goal management, and the tradeoffs required to achieve the right customer outcome. This is not a reactive reporting role — you will shape how speed decisions are made before they're locked, connecting analytical rigor to planning decisions that affect millions of customer promises.

You'll sit within the AMXL NA Strategic Planning Team (SPT) and serve as the single-threaded owner for speed strategy across planning horizons. You'll partner closely with Finance, Operations, Capacity Planning, and Science teams to quantify tradeoffs, diagnose drivers, and recommend where different planning choices would materially improve the customer experience.

Key job responsibilities

  • GVS goal and speed outlook — Own the forward-looking speed outlook, including the primary drivers of expected performance and any gaps to goal.

  • Speed diagnostics — Identify where speed is expected to improve or degrade and why, distinguishing structural opportunities from temporary noise.

  • Tradeoff analysis — Evaluate speed, backlog, capacity, and cost tradeoffs across HVE and ongoing planning decisions. Quantify the customer impact of alternative scenarios.

  • Pre-HVE inputs and logic — Own or co-own the inputs-and-logic review before HVE speed modeling to ensure scenarios are built from understood, decision-ready assumptions.

  • Finance partnership — Partner closely with Finance E2E on cost/tradeoff decisions; serve as the team's finance SME for speed-related planning tradeoffs.

  • Investment recommendations — Recommend where incremental investment or different planning choices would materially improve customer speed.

  • Cross-mechanism connectivity — Connect speed implications into backlog, MTP, HVE, capacity, and aligned-planning decisions.

  • Analytical capability development — Develop the scenario logic, tools, and analytical frameworks needed to support speed strategy decisions.

About the team

The AMXL NA Strategic Planning Team owns the design and evolution of AMXL's aligned-planning ecosystem — connecting long-range planning, mid-term planning, SSOP/HVE, and execution into a cohesive decision framework. We work across Finance, Operations, Science, Product/Tech, and Core Network to ensure planning decisions made months in advance translate into executable network outcomes and great customer experiences. This role is part of a team that values analytical depth, strategic ownership, and the ability to simplify complex tradeoffs into clear action.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • 2+ years of supply chain experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
