We are seeking a senior technology leader to own the strategy, delivery, reliability, and continuous improvement of an enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform supporting multiple business lines within a highly regulated banking environment.

The successful candidate will lead platform modernization, cloud transformation, production support, release governance, and stakeholder engagement across a cross functional team of professionals. This role requires a combination of hands on cloud expertise, enterprise platform leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior technology and business executives.

Your future duties and responsibilities

. Own and maintain the enterprise MFT platform roadmap, aligning technology priorities with business objectives, risk requirements, and investment plans.

. Lead the migration of complex, legacy, and mainframe integrated workloads to public cloud through phased execution plans, defined cutover criteria, and business sign off.

. Provide technical and delivery leadership across engineering, architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, operations, and business teams.

. Govern platform releases, production changes, escalation processes, and operational readiness activities.

. Lead high severity production incidents from triage through resolution, root cause analysis, remediation, and prevention.

. Partner with Site Reliability Engineering, production support, and application teams to improve platform availability, resilience, recoverability, and observability.

. Drive adoption of self service capabilities, automation, and standardized onboarding processes across business lines.

. Establish and monitor platform performance, reliability, adoption, service level, and operational metrics.

. Present platform strategy, delivery progress, risks, financial requirements, and business outcomes through quarterly business reviews and executive leadership forums.

. Facilitate CTO level capstone reviews and translate executive priorities into actionable, funded roadmaps.

. Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions across multiple concurrent initiatives.

. Ensure technology solutions comply with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, regulatory, change management, and IT service management standards.

. Identify opportunities to reduce operational cost, improve user experience, minimize alert noise, and increase engineering efficiency.

. Coach and develop technical leads and delivery professionals across the platform organization.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

. 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology delivery, platform engineering, cloud transformation, or technology leadership.

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

. Demonstrated experience leading large, cross functional teams in complex enterprise environments.

. Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and public cloud architecture.

. Experience migrating legacy, mainframe connected, or business critical workloads to public cloud.

. Deep understanding of Managed File Transfer, enterprise integration, file transmission, scheduling, security, encryption, and operational support processes.

. Experience managing production platforms in a banking, financial services, or similarly regulated environment.

. Proven experience owning technology roadmaps, release governance, incident management, and executive communications.

. Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, disaster recovery, business continuity, monitoring, alerting, and service management.

. Experience with ITIL practices, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.

. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
