Job Description

Role Summary: Stablecoins have evolved from niche technology into critical financial infrastructure, and are reshaping payments, settlement, operations, and global money movement. Visa is at the forefront of this transition, bringing the trust, scale, and security to this rapidly evolving onchain ecosystem. The Sr. Product Manager, Risk & Security (RAS) - Stablecoin Risk, will help define Visa's risk solutions strategy for stablecoin-powered payments and money movement, helping bring Visa's trust, security, and scale to the onchain ecosystem.

Working across cross-functional Visa teams including Visa’s Stablecoin Platform Product, Technology, Data Science, and Market teams, this role will identify emerging risks, assess capability gaps, and help shape the next generation of risk and trust solutions for onchain payments and digital money. Areas of focus and expertise include stablecoin issuance, wallets, settlement, cross-border money movement, transaction monitoring, identity, and compliance. Success requires strong product leadership and the ability to translate evolving market, regulatory, and technology trends into scalable solutions that enable Visa and its clients to participate confidently in the future of digital money.

This role requires digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

  • Maintain a customer‑centric view of risk with a deep understanding of stablecoin ecosystem participants, payment flows, and client needs as digital money adoption accelerates. Track and synthesize trends in stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, wallets, custody, settlement, on-ramp and off-ramp services, and emerging fraud and financial crime risks, and assess their implications for Visa's risk and security strategy.

  • Drive cross‑functional solutioning and product execution, aligning RAS fraud, identity, authentication, disputes, and data/AI teams to deliver cohesive solutions, unified roadmaps, and clear product requirements from discovery through go/no‑go. This includes leading discovery, design thinking, and prototyping, and translating strategy into concrete product artifacts and launch decisions.

  • Develop clear product narratives and positioning, aligning stakeholders on the value, strategy, and differentiation of Visa's risk and trust solutions for stablecoins, onchain payments, and digital money.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
