Job Description

GALLS, LLC is the largest and fastest growing supplier of uniforms and equipment to public safety professionals, with a national presence in more than 80 locations. With over 50 years in the industry, it is easy to see why. We are PROUD to serve America's public safety professionals by providing the broadest selection of uniforms, equipment, and solutions combined with great customer service.

JOB SUMMARY

GALLS is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Product Manager to lead the day-to-day product management and continuous evolution of eQuip, our proprietary B2B digital platform serving public safety agencies, government organizations, and enterprise customers.

eQuip is more than a traditional eCommerce platform. It is a highly configurable, end-to-end uniform and equipment management solution that supports complex purchasing programs, employee entitlements, budget and allotment management, approval workflows, asset management, and customer-specific business requirements.

The Product Manager will serve as the primary day-to-day product owner and subject matter expert for eQuip, translating customer and business needs into actionable enhancements, managing the product backlog, partnering with technology teams to deliver new capabilities, and driving continuous improvement.

This highly collaborative, hands-on role works across Technology, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Training, and Operations. In partnership with IT leadership, the Product Manager will execute the product roadmap while contributing insights and recommendations that help shape the platform's long-term strategic direction.

WHAT YOU'll DO

Product Ownership & Roadmap Management

Serve as the primary day-to-day product owner for eQuip, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of its capabilities, business rules, integrations, and customer use cases.

Own and prioritize the product enhancement backlog, managing the intake and evaluation of requests based on customer impact, business value, technical complexity, and strategic alignment.

Partner with IT leadership to translate strategic product objectives into actionable roadmap priorities, enhancements, and delivery plans.

Drive day-to-day product decisions, balancing customer needs, revenue opportunities, operational efficiencies, and platform scalability.

Maintain visibility into enhancement status, delivery schedules, and dependencies, communicating priorities, progress, and trade-offs to stakeholders.

Product Requirements, Technology Delivery & Process Optimization

Translate business and customer needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documented workflows, ensuring alignment with product priorities and business objectives.

Partner with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Developers, and IT teams to define scope, validate requirements, and support successful delivery through Agile development processes.

Serve as the primary business decision-maker for functional requirements, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), release readiness, and post-release validation to ensure solutions meet customer expectations.

Evaluate customer-specific requirements and existing business processes to identify opportunities for workflow simplification, automation, improved accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with technology and operational teams on platform enhancements, integrations, and resolution of product-related issues, promoting standardized, scalable solutions that support long-term platform maintainability.

Customer Experience, Product Adoption & Continuous Improvement

Champion the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve usability, streamline workflows, and enhance self-service capabilities for eQuip end users and administrators.

Lead customer focus groups, advisory sessions, interviews, and usability testing to gather feedback, uncover unmet needs, and identify product enhancement opportunities.

Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Onboarding teams to analyze customer feedback, support trends, and recurring challenges, translating insights into actionable product recommendations.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators, including platform utilization, online ordering activity, feature adoption, and customer engagement, to measure product effectiveness and guide continuous improvement.

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on initiatives that increase awareness and adoption of platform capabilities, evaluating their impact on customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

Sales Enablement, Product Training & Communications

Serve as the eQuip product subject matter expert for Sales, delivering customer demonstrations and supporting RFPs, proposals, and strategic sales opportunities.

Partner with Sales to communicate eQuip's capabilities, competitive differentiators, and business value through demonstration scenarios, product presentations, and sales enablement resources.

Collaborate with Training to develop and maintain product training materials, user guides, instructional videos, and knowledge resources for internal teams and customers.

Own product release communications, including release notes, feature highlights, and business-value summaries, partnering with Marketing and Training to ensure effective communication of new capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technology teams for day-to-day eQuip product management activities.

Facilitate cross-functional alignment on product requirements, operational impacts, dependencies, and implementation decisions.

Proactively identify and address product-related risks, competing priorities, and stakeholder concerns, escalating decisions requiring leadership alignment.

Support platform modernization initiatives, strategic projects, and new business opportunities in partnership with IT leadership and cross-functional teams.

Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

3-5+ years of experience in product or project management, digital product ownership, business systems analysis, or a related technology-focused role.
