Full job description

About Bobyard Construction is a multi-trillion-dollar industry that still estimates by hand. Contractors measure and count materials off drawings manually, and it caps how many jobs they can bid. Bobyard uses computer vision and NLP to automate takeoffs and estimates, so contractors bid faster and win more. We raised a $35M Series A led by 8VC, with Primary and Pear, and we're growing fast.

About the role You'll set product direction across our core takeoff platform and our next 0→1 bets. This is a senior IC role with company-level scope: define where the product goes over the next 2–3 years, make the hard tradeoffs, and raise the bar for how product is built here.

What you'll do

  • Set the multi-year vision for takeoff and adjacent pre-construction workflows, and turn it into a roadmap
  • Become one of the deepest customer experts in the company
  • Lead new products from thesis to first prototype to repeatable revenue
  • Decide with ML and engineering where models automate and where humans stay in the loop
  • Align engineering, design, sales, marketing, and CS on positioning, pricing, and launches
  • Define how we spec, prioritize, and run discovery, and mentor other PMs

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years in product management, owning strategy for a product or product line
  • Shipped at least one 0→1 product with real customer traction
  • Built AI/ML-driven products or B2B software for complex workflows
  • Strong judgment under ambiguity, with reasoning you can explain
  • You've mentored PMs or helped build a product practice
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or the equivalent combination of education and specialized experience

Nice to have

  • Construction or pre-construction experience
  • Pricing and packaging work

A note on pace We move fast, and priorities shift as we learn from customers. Playbooks, context, and requirements are often incomplete when work starts, and you'll be expected to shape them. If that pace excites you, you'll fit in well.
