Oversee the project management of VDC/BIM projects, including overseeing 3D BIM creation, clash detection, clash resolution, 4D simulations, 5D quantity/cost analysis, point cloud to BIM, virtual reality, augmented reality, and other VDC/BIM applications. Manage implementation of (exposing, facilitating, and training) BIM for trades focusing on construction and fabrication, including the creation of coordination documents and spool drawings, enabling BIM to factory and BIM to field, automated layout, etc. Ensure the integration of BIM and Lean processes to optimize VDC processes. Review and approve detailed schedules, project plans, and budget projections to effectively manage projects to successful completion. Proactively identify and communicate planning gaps to clients and stakeholders. Participate in interviewing, selecting, and reviewing employees within the department as needed. Assist in providing estimates, take-offs, and bids for potential work and change orders. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements across multiple projects at the department level, and actively supervise and support the creation of playbooks and standard operating procedures. Enhance VIATechnik's goal of continuous improvement within our company, for our clients, and for the industry. Responsible for on-time completion, overall budget, quality, and client satisfaction on a portfolio of projects. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and cultivate client relationships. Present work to clients. Conduct and/or actively participate in meetings with clients. Resource alignment, work planning, coordination, and management of a team of BIM specialists, other VIATechnik project team members, and third-party vendors. Includes presenting project scope and instructions to the team, ensuring all questions are answered, team output is received on time, and that the team is producing high-quality work. Stay abreast of the latest VDC technology applications to be incorporated into both our team environment and our clients' projects. Travel to client sites and other VIATechnik company locations. Contribute to the VIATechnik culture of professional development and knowledge sharing by participating in and leading training efforts. As assigned, serve as the people manager for VIATechnik employees at the entry- to manager-level. Includes supporting career development, feedback, training, and project execution success for all direct reports. Work with the following: Autodesk (Navisworks, Revit, ReCap, Construction Cloud & FORMA); MS Office Suite, Procore, Revizto, Revu Bluebeam, CloudCompare, Oracle Primavera P6, Power BI, Dynamo, Civil 3D; Building Information Modeling (BIM); LiDAR Scanning; 360-Degree Photo Capture Technology; Digital Twin Creation and Management; Model-Based Construction Coordination; Deviation Analysis and Quality Control; Model based 4D scheduling and Progress Tracking; Real-time Cost Tracking (5D analysis); Lean Construction & Last Planner System; Integrated Project Delivery (IPD); RFI Management and Document Control; BIM Execution Planning (BEP). Other similar professional duties as assigned. M-F; 40 hrs/week. $195,957.00/annum.
