Full job description

Occupational Therapist (School-Based)

Make a meaningful impact in students' lives while working in a supportive and diverse educational environment!

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join a school-based team serving students across Washington school districts. If you are passionate about helping students achieve greater independence and success in the classroom, we'd love to hear from you.

Position Summary:

The OT is responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing occupational therapy services, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with each student's individual learning goals. The OT will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and participation in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with student needs and IEPs

  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed

  • Maintain timely and accurate data collection

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff

  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and educational planning

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Washington

  • One year of professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred

  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards and practices

  • Current CPR certification

  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray

  • Current health certificate, as required by contract or state regulations

  • Ability to meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
