The future isn't coming; it's here, and we need builders, innovators, and problem solvers to help us create it.
Who You Are
Metropolis is seeking an experienced, operationally rigorous leader to join as Regional Manager, Operations. In this role, you will be the operational backbone of your geographic market, driving day-to-day operational execution, full regional P&L ownership, and technology adoption across a multi-site portfolio. You are the critical link between executive leadership and frontline site teams, translating high-level business goals into disciplined ground operations, superior customer satisfaction, and safe, compliant facilities.
What You'll Do
• Drive Operational & Tech Performance: Oversee daily multi-site operations across your region, ensuring consistent service delivery, facility cleanliness, safety standards, and high technology uptime across Vision camera and access systems.
• P&L & Budget Ownership: Own regional financial performance to achieve 100% EBITDA targets. Lead annual budgeting, regular reforecasting, labor efficiency modeling, and expense control (maintaining overtime < 3%).
• Platform & Visit Compliance: Monitor regional operational dashboards to optimize visit coverage rates (>95%) and Gross Payment Volume (GPV) compliance, actively diagnosing and resolving location-level anomalies with your Operations Managers.
• Lead & Develop High-Performing Teams: Recruit, coach, and retain multi-level operational teams (including Senior Operations Managers and Operations Managers). Foster a culture of accountability, ensure >95% training completion, and oversee labor management, including local CBA administration and grievance resolution where applicable.
• Client Retention & Asset Health: Serve as the senior operational escalation point for property owners and real estate partners. Drive same-store revenue retention (>95%) and maintain top-tier customer and member satisfaction (CSAT/NPS).
• Partner with Revenue & Growth Teams: Serve as the regional operational subject matter expert during new deal underwriting, facility handoffs, proposal facilitation, and post-contract onboarding to ensure scalable market expansion.
• Safety & Risk Mitigation: Enforce comprehensive risk management protocols, maintaining an Incident Exposure Rate < 1.1 through completed safety audits, regular site inspections, and prompt hazard resolution.
What We're Looking For
• Multi-Unit Operational Leadership: 5+ years of multi-unit operational leadership experience managing distributed facilities, properties, mobility hubs, or retail/hospitality operations.
• Financial Acumen & P&L Ownership: Full P&L and EBITDA accountability across a multi-site portfolio, with demonstrated experience in budget management, variance analysis, and labor optimization.
• Team Leadership & Labor Relations: Proven leadership capability managing field supervisors, operations managers, and frontline hourly staff (experience working with unionized labor and Collective Bargaining Agreements is a strong plus).
• Data & Systems Fluency: Tech-fluent operational mindset with comfort using data dashboards, BI tools, and operational KPIs to spot trends, audit workflows, and drive root-cause fixes.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder communication skills with experience presenting financial performance and operational reviews to commercial real estate partners or asset owners.
• Mobility & Licensing: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and an acceptable driving record, with willingness to travel locally across the regional portfolio.
Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Domain Expertise: Prior experience scaling operational performance within parking, urban mobility, commercial real estate, or high-volume retail/hospitality environments.
• Modern Enterprise Systems: Hands-on experience leveraging enterprise CRM and BI platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, Looker) to analyze operational metrics and streamline multi-site workflows.
4 Days in Office: Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience. Our corporate team members hold to our office-first model, which requires employees to be on-site at least four days a week, fostering organic interactions that spark creativity and connection.
