Local Team Collaboration:

• Lead our local team of five hospital medicine physicians committed to improving outcomes for the community we serve.

• We are an integral part of the hospital and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and providing Emergency Medicine services in addition to Hospital medicine.

• Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.

• Outside of work, we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine. Family medicine can be considered with demonstrated hospitalist experience.

• Ability to manage ICU patients without intensivist backup.

• Procedural competency preferred.

• Prefer at least 1-2 years of hospitalist experience and previous leadership experience.

Scheduling:

• Flexible scheduling is available. Medical Director works an average of 12 clinical shifts a month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical oversight for the team while building strong relationships with our hospital partner leadership.

• Providing inpatient care to a small, acute care hospital with an open ICU and minimal subspecialty support.

• Deliver exceptional care in a community-centered practice where your expertise helps shape better outcomes for the patients who need it most.

• Manageable census and opportunity to practice with autonomy.

• Candidates must be comfortable with vent management and responding to rapid responses and codes.

Rewards and Compensation:

• Annual compensation of $390,000 plus incentives.

• Sign-on bonus of $50,000.

• Relocation assistance provided.

• Comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice, tail coverage, 401K with matching contributions, and annual CME allowance.
