General Manager — Indiana

Our client, an electric motor repair and rewind organization is seeking a General Manager to join their team. As a General Manager , you will be part of the Spina Electric operations supporting shop, technical, and business development teams . The ideal candidate will have leadership skills , technical expertise , and customer relationship management which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Manager

Location: Michigan City, Indiana

What’s the Job?

  • Oversight of daily shop operations, workflow scheduling, and operational efficiency.

  • Establishment and monitoring of KPIs for productivity, quality, and profitability.

  • Technical expertise applied to AC/DC motor repair, rewinding, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Recruitment, training, and mentoring of shop and office personnel.

  • Development of customer relationships and support for business growth initiatives.

What’s Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electric motor repair or rotating equipment services.

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience.

  • Strong knowledge of motor winding techniques, insulation systems, and testing procedures.

  • Ability to manage budgets, operations, and personnel with strong business acumen.
