Full job description
Antora Energy delivers affordable, reliable energy to industry, data centers, and the grid. Our thermal batteries turn low-cost electricity into always-on heat and power, without supply-constrained critical minerals or multi-year construction timelines. We are growing our company with people who put team and mission first, value connection through laughter and joy, and work with humility and openness. We are committed to building a diverse, passionate, and creative team dedicated to a future powered by abundant, clean, low-cost energy.
Position Summary
Antora Energy is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive high-priority execution work across our hardware Product Development organization. Working across Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Field Operations, you will bring clarity to milestones, decisions, and responsibilities, helping teams resolve gaps between functions and accelerate deployment. You'll join a small, centralized TPM team that owns program infrastructure across Antora's current- and next-generation module programs. You will own thermal battery module engineering and hardware programs ranging from clearly-bounded workstreams to more complex, cross-functional initiatives, partnering with other TPMs and functional leaders as needed. This role requires initiative, independent judgment, and the ability to influence without direct authority across functions
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own program planning and execution: Drive module engineering programs and workstreams from early design through build, validation, and field deployment. Establish scope, milestones, owners, and next steps, and maintain momentum through completion. Build and maintain integrated schedules, track critical-path dependencies, and develop recovery plans when programs slip.
- Coordinate across functions: Partner with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Field Operations to clarify dependencies, resolve misalignments, and move open decisions and actions to closure.
- Identify and escalate risks: Proactively surface program risks, blockers, and competing priorities before they affect timelines. Engage the appropriate stakeholders and adjust execution plans as needed.
- Maintain clear program communication: Keep program trackers, action logs, and documentation accurate and current. Deliver concise updates on progress, risks, decisions, and next steps to cross-functional partners and leadership.
- Develop and right-size processes: Build, adjust, or retire processes (e.g. engineering change control) based on risk - putting controls where the cost of a miss is highest, and avoiding steps that add overhead without reducing risk.
- Apply AI to everyday execution: Build and utilize AI tools to streamline processes and speed up development work, exercising sound judgment about accuracy and when human review is needed
Key Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience in technical program management, engineering, or product development in a hardware environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with strong technical fluency in mechanical, thermal, or electrical systems
- Experience coordinating projects that span hardware design, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or field operations
- Demonstrated ability to define scope, organize milestones, and drive a technical program or workstream to completion.
- Ability to build trusted cross-functional relationships, clarify responsibilities, and keep stakeholders aligned as priorities change
- Familiarity with product development and NPI processes including design reviews, engineering validation builds, phased development programs (stage-gate), and change management principles
- Clear verbal and written communication, including the ability to provide concise, audience-appropriate updates to technical teams and leadership
- Comfort working through ambiguity, scoping and re-scoping defined work with limited direction, and recognizing when to seek support or escalate an issue
Additional Qualifications Desired
- Experience independently leading complex, cross-functional hardware programs end-to-end
- Experience in energy, industrial, or other high-temperature / high-power hardware systems
- Experience with PLM, ERP, or MES systems (e.g., Arena, NetSuite)
- Experience working in a startup or fast-scaling hardware environmen
