Duties & Responsibilities

Provides educational opportunities to meet orientation, training, and development needs of Nursing Service teammates.

Responsible for onboarding new employees, creating educational materials, facilitating classroom, simulation, skill- based, virtual and clinical learning experiences.

Works collaboratively with nursing leadership, clinical staff, interprofessional teams and organizational stakeholders.

Develops educational materials, competency tools, learning activities and resources that support safe and effective nursing practice.
Qualifications
-
SC RN License required. 3-4 years clinical experience required. (Telemetry/Step-Down Unit experience preferred.)

Master’s degree in Nursing, or in a related field as approved by the CNO, required or must be obtained within 3 years from date of hire.

Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
