Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides educational opportunities to meet orientation, training, and development needs of Nursing Service teammates.

  • Responsible for onboarding new employees, creating educational materials, facilitating classroom, simulation, skill- based, virtual and clinical learning experiences.

  • Works collaboratively with nursing leadership, clinical staff, interprofessional teams and organizational stakeholders.

  • Develops educational materials, competency tools, learning activities and resources that support safe and effective nursing practice.

Qualifications

  • SC RN License required. 3-4 years clinical experience required. (Telemetry/Step-Down Unit experience preferred.)

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, or in a related field as approved by the CNO, required or must be obtained within 3 years from date of hire.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
