Job Description As a Senior Tax Associate, you will prepare tax returns for personal, business, and non-profit clients. RML offers competitive compensation and great benefits with career advising and advancement opportunities.

Tax Associate/Tax Senior Job Title: Experienced Tax Associate/Senior Associate Overview: We are looking for a motivated Experienced Tax Associate or Senior Associate with 1-3 years of public accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns, including workpapers.
  • Draft client correspondence and tax-related documents.
  • Develop tax projections and planning strategies.
  • Research and analyze domestic and international tax issues.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and interns.
  • Build client relationships and understand their industries and trends.
  • Engage in networking activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
  • At least 1 year of public accounting experience, with one busy season completed.
  • CPA license or CPA eligibility required.
  • Strong multi-tasking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
