Job Responsibilities:

Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on all types of vehicles and repair systems/parts when needed; such as engine, battery, lights, gauges and controls, sensitive edges, safety equipment, all interior components, transmissions, tires, breaks, undercarriage, power steering, fluids and filters and all other electrical and mechanical bus components

Diagnoses and repairs buses specifically concentrating on minor to moderate problems including engine, transmission, electrical, tires, brakes, undercarriage, power steering, fluids/filters and mechanical defects.;

Completely document all work performed in CMMS Software.

Test and repair buses requires physical dexterity and exertion and heavy lifting.

Utilize repair manuals and parts manuals for aid in making minor repairs

Cleans, repairs, and replaces bus equipment as required

Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking for:
-
3+ years of maintenance experience; experience working in school transportation industry, transportation or related field

Air Brake and diagnostic experience
-
Willingness to obtain a CDL and State Inspection license
-
ASE certification is a plus!

Valid CDL license is a plus!
-
Tools to perform maintenance work is a plus!
