Full job description
About PayRange:
PayRange is a leading provider of innovative payment technology and digital commerce solutions that simplify how consumers pay and improve how businesses operate. Our platform enables operators across Laundry, Vending, Amusement, and other unattended retail markets to modernize their businesses, improve customer experience, and unlock new revenue opportunities.
With billions of transactions, over 10 million users, and hundreds of thousands of connected machines,
PayRange is the world's top-rated and most widely used digital commerce platform for unattended retail, revolutionizing autonomous commerce. We are investing in building a high-performing, scalable sales organization to facilitate and accelerate our next phase of hyper growth.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven Senior Account Executive (SAE) to own and accelerate new customer acquisition across the Greater Los Angeles and Southwest market.
This is a high-impact, field-based sales role designed for a proven hunter who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing new business.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys being in the market, meeting directly with business owners, channel partners and operators, identifying opportunities, and demonstrating how technology can improve their operations and profitability.
While the initial focus will be on the commercial laundry market, this role will have the opportunity to sell PayRange's expanding portfolio of solutions across multiple customer segments.
Though you will inherit some existing customers and receive a percentage of inbound, this is not an account management or order-taking role. We are looking for a true new-business sales professional who can build a territory, create pipeline, and consistently exceed revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Territory Development & New Business Acquisition
-
Own the Greater Los Angeles and Southwest territory, developing and executing a comprehensive market penetration and new customer acquisition strategy.
-
Proactively identify, prospect, and engage laundromat owners, multi-location operators, laundry businesses, and other qualified prospects.
-
Generate a consistent flow of new opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, in-person visits, referrals, networking, and targeted campaigns.
-
Conduct regular in-market prospecting and customer visits to establish relationships and accelerate sales cycles.
-
Build relationships with key industry partners, distributors, and other referral sources.
-
Develop a territory business plan with clear pipeline generation, customer acquisition, and revenue objectives.
Value-Based Selling & Revenue Growth
-
Position and sell PayRange's comprehensive portfolio, including mobile payment solutions, hardware, and all-in-one laundry management technology.
-
Lead consultative discovery conversations to understand operator challenges, pain points, business priorities, and growth opportunities.
-
Demonstrate how PayRange solutions can increase revenue, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
-
Engage business owners and decision-makers to develop compelling business cases and drive purchasing decisions.
-
Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through solution demonstration, proposal, negotiation, and Closed/Won.
-
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and expand adoption of additional PayRange solutions.
-
Consistently achieve or exceed assigned new customer acquisition, bookings, and revenue targets.
Pipeline Management & Sales Execution
-
Build and maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipeline that supports predictable revenue growth.
-
Maintain accurate opportunity, activity, and forecasting information in Salesforce CRM.
-
Execute against defined sales processes, qualification criteria, and pipeline management standards.
-
Track and optimize key performance indicators, including prospecting activity, operator meetings, pipeline generation, stage conversion rates, win rates, and revenue attainment.
-
Partner closely with Sales Development, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to accelerate customer acquisition and ensure successful onboarding.
-
Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to help shape PayRange's go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications:
Required
-
5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of new business acquisition and consistent quota attainment.
-
Proven success in an outbound, territory-based, or field sales role.
-
Strong hunter mentality with the ability to independently generate pipeline and close new business.
-
Experience selling technology, SaaS, payment solutions, POS systems, or other business solutions to SMB and mid-market customers.
-
Demonstrated ability to engage business owners, operators, and executive decision-makers.
-
Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
-
Experience managing the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting through contract execution.
-
Highly organized, self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
-
Based in the Greater Los Angeles area, with the ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
Preferred
-
Experience selling into the laundromat, commercial laundry, unattended retail, vending, or payments industries.
-
Existing relationships with laundromat owners, multi-store operators, distributors, or other industry stakeholders.
-
Experience selling multi-product solutions that combine software, hardware, and recurring revenue.
-
Demonstrated success building and expanding a geographic sales territory.
-
Familiarity with POS systems, mobile payments, business management software, and subscription-based solutions.
-
Experience selling to independently owned businesses and multi-location operators.
Compensation & Benefits:
PayRange offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary, performance-based commission, and employee benefits.
Specific compensation details will be discussed during the recruiting process.
