Full job description
TrustLayer is at the forefront of revolutionizing risk management by automating and simplifying the certificate of insurance (COI) process. Our innovative platform enables businesses to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and enhance operational efficiency. As a rapidly growing SaaS company, we are on a mission to significantly expand our market presence and impact.
The role Our outbound program is up and running. Our first BDR built the playbook, and it’s producing pipeline. Now we’re adding a second BDR to expand our reach. You’ll start with proven sequences, messaging and tools. From there you’ll take on your own territory or segment and bring new ideas to make the program better. You’ll work closely with our mid-market AEs, partner team and marketing. What you'll do
- Generate pipeline: prospect into target accounts by phone, email, LinkedIn and video to reach risk, compliance, operations and procurement leaders
- Own your segment: research and prioritize accounts in your [territory / vertical], and book qualified meetings for our AEs
- Re-engage and nurture: bring dormant prospects back into conversation and keep early-stage interest warm
- Support active deals: help AEs reach more stakeholders when deals stall
- Improve the playbook: test new messaging and tactics, and share what works with the team
What you bring
- 1+ years in an SDR/BDR role, ideally at a B2B SaaS company, with a track record of hitting your number
- Comfort cold calling and writing outreach that gets replies
- Experience with a CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot) and prospecting tools (ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, Outreach/Salesloft, or similar)
- Coachability, curiosity, and the drive to work independently once you’re ramped
Nice to have
- Startup or high-growth experience
- Exposure to insurance, risk management, real estate or construction
- Experience supporting mid-market deals with multiple stakeholders
