Full job description

Job Summary:

Franklin Pierce University, a NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Northeast-10 Conference, is seeking an enthusiastic individual for a full-time position of a Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. As in integral member of the Athletics Coach staff, this position reports directly to the Director of Athletics. The position is a full-time, 12-month coaching position that is responsible for working directly with the women’s lacrosse team.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • planning, organizing and conducting individual and team practices,

  • training and competition games,

  • coaching, recruiting, fundraising, scheduling, budgeting and travel

Experience and Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should:

  • possess a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred,

  • have experience with coaching at the college level required,

  • must possess good organizational, oral and written communication skills,

  • have experience in recruiting and have the skills to recruit new student athletes,

  • have knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes is required,

  • have experience with fundraising and budget management.
