Full job description

This role supports Datadog's immigration and employee mobility programs across the Americas, helping employees and new hires navigate immigration processes, work authorization requirements, and relocations. You'll partner with employees, Recruiting, People teams, Legal, and external providers to deliver consistent, compliant, and employee-focused support. You'll also maintain accurate program data, coordinate time-sensitive cases, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. As our programs evolve, you'll have opportunities to strengthen processes, improve the employee experience, and contribute to scalable immigration and mobility operations.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage day-to-day immigration processes across the Americas, partnering with employees, candidates, internal stakeholders, and external counsel to coordinate employment-based immigration cases, work authorization, renewals, and filings.

  • Coordinate U.S. immigration programs, including H-1B cap submissions, F-1, TN, E-3, O-1, J-1, permanent residence, and related processes, while supporting I-9 reverification and immigration compliance requirements.

  • Manage domestic and international relocation programs for new hires and internal transfers, coordinating vendors, employee communications, eligibility, cost estimates, and policy exceptions.

  • Partner with Recruiting, Legal, Payroll, Tax, Finance, Benefits, and People teams to address immigration and relocation requirements, resolve escalations, and support employees throughout their mobility experience.

  • Maintain accurate immigration and mobility records in Workday, monitor critical deadlines, conduct data audits, and develop reporting to track program activity, costs, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with external providers and internal stakeholders to monitor regulatory developments, maintain process documentation, and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and scale immigration and mobility programs.

Who You Are:

  • You have at least six years of relevant experience in Human Resources, People Operations, immigration, global mobility, or a related field, including at least two years directly managing employment-based immigration processes.

  • You have hands-on experience supporting immigration and employee relocation programs, with strong working knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration processes, including H-1B, F-1, TN, E-3, O-1, J-1, and permanent residence.

  • You understand the operational, tax, payroll, and compliance considerations associated with domestic and international employee relocations.

  • You have experience partnering with immigration counsel, relocation providers, and cross-functional teams to manage cases, resolve issues, and deliver a supportive employee experience.

  • You communicate complex processes clearly, manage competing priorities with sound judgment, and maintain accurate, confidential records while navigating time-sensitive requirements.

  • You use data to monitor program performance and recommend improvements, with experience supporting immigration or mobility processes in Latin America considered a plus.

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We know not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That’s okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your experience, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • Best-in-breed onboarding

  • Generous global benefits

  • Intra-departmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking

  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)

  • Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing

  • An inclusive company culture, able to join our Community Guilds and Inclusion Talks
