Job Description

Pay Rates Starting between: $20.15 - $33.25 / hour This position is responsible for the repair & preparation of fuel and lubricants tanks while also providing maintenance and assisting with installations.

  • Operates company vehicles with a GVWR up to 26,000lbs in accordance with company regulations, state and federal laws, and customer policies.
  • Ability to effectively interface with customers.
  • Conducts assigned duties while following all proper safety procedures.
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections of vehicles and reports all defects to the maintenance department.
  • Works responsibly with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Cleaning, painting and prepping fuel and lubricants tanks
  • Forklift operation.
  • Troubleshoot various equipment failures.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
  • Forklift Certified.
  • Must have and maintain current California Driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification CARD (TWIC)
  • Basic understanding of plumbing, mechanical and electric repair
  • Courteous to customers and all staff
  • Problem-solving

  • Critical Thinking
  • Teamwork is essential
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds alone and over 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to climb up and down a ladder.
  • Ability to work around hazardous materials such as gasoline, diesel, paint, solvent, etc.
