FlexStaff is seeking a Senior Quality Technician for our client, an aerospace and industrial manufacturing company located in Deer Park, NY.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-4:00PM.

In this role you will be performing advanced CMM inspections, develop and modify inspection programs, interpreting complex engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing requirements, and providing technical guidance to other Quality personnel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality, Inspection, Metrology, or precision manufacturing.

  • Strong hands-on CMM operating and programming experience

  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop, modify, troubleshoot, and execute CMM inspection programs.

  • Strong knowledge of GD&T.

  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Strong experience with precision measurement equipment.

  • Experience with First Article, in-process, and final inspection.

  • Experience investigating nonconformances and supporting root-cause/corrective-action activities.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision parts and assemblies.

  • Operate, program, troubleshoot, and maintain CMM equipment and inspection programs.

  • Interpret drawings, GD&T, specifications, and customer requirements to define inspection methods.

  • Review results, documentation, and records for accuracy, traceability, and compliance.

  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.

  • Investigate nonconformances, support root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.

  • Provide technical guidance and training to quality staff.

  • Support audits, ISO 9001:2015, calibration, and Quality Management System activities.

  • Assist with customer quality requests, complaints, and inspection documentation.

  • Identify risks and support continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and process stability.

The salary range for this position is $28.00-$31.00/hour
