Full job description

You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

THE WORK:

  • You’ll provide day-to-day project coordination, cost management, and financial-controls support for sustainability and energy-related capital improvement projects throughout planning, scoping, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

  • You’ll prepare and maintain project documents, records, correspondence, reports, and communications, while supporting project establishment and White Paper development in accordance with BuildLACCD PMO Standard Operating Procedures.

  • You’ll coordinate with District personnel, Campus Administration, College Project Teams, the Program Management Office, Program Controls, and other stakeholders to verify funding, budgets, cost estimates, forecasts, and financial requirements.

  • You’ll develop and maintain cost forecasts and Estimates-to-Complete, track Change Order Requests, commitments, contract balances, remaining encumbrances, and funding availability, and identify potential shortfalls before they affect project delivery.

  • You’ll perform monthly budget and cost reconciliations, review expenditures across multiple funding sources, and support accurate month-end financial reporting.

  • You’ll review financial reports, cost performance, cash flow, and schedule data to identify variances, overruns, underruns, and financial risks, then communicate material concerns to Project Managers and appropriate stakeholders.

  • You’ll coordinate invoice oversight and reconciliation with accounting and project stakeholders, validate project budget data, support stakeholder dashboards, and maintain program-controls databases and financial reports.

  • You’ll support compliance with District requirements, BuildLACCD PMO procedures, cost-management requirements, and bond-funding restrictions for capital construction, modernization, and sustainability projects.

  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
