Full job description
KOMAN Sustainable Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Traveling Project Manager to support our O&M contracts. This role requires full‑time, on‑site work, including office duties, field inspections, job walks, and client meetings.

Position Responsibilities
-
Lead a team of up to 15 employees and subcontractors supporting a Customs and Border Patrol maintenance contract for border wall and road infrastructure.

Plan and execute maintenance activities across multiple sector locations.

Monitor labor usage on all assigned projects to ensure staffing aligns with budget and project phases.

Manage and coordinate subcontractor work to maintain schedule compliance.

Understand construction sequencing and develop, manage, and execute full project schedules.
-
Guide the team through all safety protocols and ensure compliance.

Verify all work meets quality standards using the QCP and other required quality measures.

Conduct timely inspections to ensure compliance with government requirements.

Identify and resolve issues early using established QCP controls.

Participate in daily tag‑up meetings and quarterly client management meetings.

Write subcontractor scopes of work, coordinate subcontract issuance, and manage change orders, schedules, closeouts, and job costs.

Ensure full compliance with QC and Safety programs.

Prepare and submit all required reports to the government.

Manage the submittal process.
What Top Candidates Bring

Ability to work on‑site full‑time per contract requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred.

5–10 years of construction project management experience required.
-
Certifications: OSHA 30 , First Aid/CPR/AED , and ASHE HCC .

Strong understanding of private client and/or government documentation requirements.

Solid technical and computer skills.

Ability to pass a background check for government project work.
