ROCKFORD BOARD OF EDUCATION Job Description JOB TITLE: Test Monitor


JOB CODE: 2180 DEPARTMENT: Bilingual and Multicultural Service SUPERVISOR: Director of Bilingual and Multicultural Service DATE: September 29, 2020 Compensation Range: $40.00 per hour


SUMMARY: Assists with testing administration and data collection/data analysis of ELL students both district-wide and at the Welcome Center.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer state required ACCESS, WIDA Model, and WIDA screener assessments to ELL students when needed.
  • Prepare assessments for electronic scoring.
  • Test administration and assistance at the Welcome Center.
  • Assumes any other duties as may from time to time be delegated by the supervisor and the supervisor may make any adjustment in the scope of responsibilities as outlined above which will be in the best interest of the school district.

EDUCATION/TRAINING: Illinois ACCESS Test Certification required. Certified instructional or non-instructional.

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledgeable of District assessment procedures of ELL students and the instruments used to assess them. Experience in administration of tests of academic achievement. Able to interpret test scores.
