Lawn Care & Snow Removal Technician

Position Summary

River Heights Outdoor Solutions is seeking dependable, hard‑working individuals to join our team as Lawn Care & Snow Removal Technicians . This year‑round role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in high‑quality work, and wants a stable position with opportunities to grow.

Technicians support lawn care and landscape maintenance throughout spring, summer, and fall, and transition to snow removal operations during winter. No prior experience is required for motivated candidates ready to learn — we provide paid training.

Lawn Care Responsibilities

• Routine mowing using commercial equipment

• Edging & trimming along sidewalks, driveways, and landscape beds

• Weeding & bed care including mulching and seasonal upkeep

• Planting & landscape care for flowers, shrubs, and small trees

• Debris removal to maintain clean, professional‑looking properties

• Equipment operation including trimmers, blowers, and small tools

Snow Removal Responsibilities

• Shoveling & sidewalk clearing

• Operating snow blowers and small equipment

• Applying salt or ice‑melt

• Assisting plow crews as needed

• Responding to snow events with reliability and urgency

Note : Snow removal work is offered based on weather conditions and is not guaranteed. Technicians who are available for early‑morning or overnight snow events may receive additional hours depending on snowfall.

Qualifications

• No experience required; lawn care or snow removal experience a plus

• Ability to learn and operate commercial equipment

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in workmanship

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, carrying)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

• Available Monday–Friday; occasional weekends and early‑morning snow events

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods

• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, and lift

• Comfortable working in heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind

• Able to push a loaded wheelbarrow (up to 200 lbs)

• Repetitive twisting, lifting, and shoveling required
