Assistant Softball Coach
Northwestern College is seeking applicants for the position of assistant softball coach. Red Raider softball is seeking a candidate who can assist in leading a nationally contending program that won three consecutive GPAC titles from 2023-2025, and hosted back-to-back NAIA regionals in 2024-2025. Join the excellent Red Raider athletic department that claimed 5 GPAC titles this past year and sent 13 teams to the NAIA postseason.
Responsibilities will include working with the head coach to administer and promote the softball program in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of Northwestern’s athletic department. The assistant coach will assist with practices, recruit athletes, and develop positive relationships with fellow coaches and athletes alike. This position will also involve responsibilities that may include teaching in the kinesiology curriculum or additional athletic department duties.

A bachelor’s degree is required with master’s preferred, but all qualified candidates for the position will be considered. Applicants must possess excellent knowledge of the sport of softball and have experience as a softball coach at the college or high school level.
