About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Trainer to deliver high-quality, hands-on instruction across multiple locations in the Pacific Northwest. This role combines field expertise, safety leadership, and instructional skills to train and develop our workforce to the highest standards. Please note that this role is 60%-80% travel throughout the Pacific Northwest.

What You'll Do

Training Design & Development• Develop and update training materials and e-learning modules tailored to electrical and gas utility operations.• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance.• Customize training content to meet regulatory standards (OSHA, NESC, PHMSA).

Training Delivery• Conduct classroom, virtual, and field-based training sessions for both new hires and experienced personnel.• Facilitate hands-on training for a variety of electrical and gas operations, including equipment operation, safety procedures, and emergency response.• Apply adult learning principles to engage diverse learner groups.

Compliance & Safety• Ensure all training aligns with federal, state, and industry-specific safety regulations.• Maintain training records and certifications for audit readiness; upload records to the LMS in a timely manner.• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement• Assess training effectiveness through feedback, testing, and on-the-job performance.• Analyze training data to identify gaps and recommend improvements.• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration• Work closely with the Director of Training and Training Coordinator to schedule and deliver training sessions efficiently.• Support workforce development initiatives.• Participate in incident investigations to identify training-related root causes.

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:• 5–10 years of Journeyman Lineman experience.• Union experience required.• High school diploma or equivalent required.• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtual.• Ability to travel extensively throughout WA, OR, ID, and MT.• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $130,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
