Role Overview

Torrco Design Center is a leading provider of high end decorative bathroom and kitchen products. With our commitment to excellence and exceptional client experience, we’ve established ourselves as a premier destination for building and design trade professionals, and homeowners seeking the highest quality products to create their spaces. If you’re passionate about sales, design, creating relationships and exceptional client experiences, we want you to be a part of our design center sales team!

The Design Center Sales Consultant is the face of the company’s kitchen and bath fixtures showroom. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, guiding customers—homeowners, designers, contractors, and builders—through decorative plumbing product selections, and supporting the sales process from consultation to order completion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with high-end products, building relationships, and helping customers bring their kitchen and bath projects to life.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome and assist homeowners, designers, builders, contractors, and other trade professionals.

  • Lead consultative sales conversations to understand each client’s style, needs, budget, and project goals.

  • Recommend and sell premium kitchen and bath fixtures and decorative plumbing products.

  • Manage projects throughout the sales cycle, including selections, quotes, orders, follow-up, and closing.

  • Develop long-term client and trade relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.

  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to keep projects and orders moving smoothly.

  • Track orders, proactively communicate with clients, and resolve issues when they arise.

  • Deliver exceptional service before, during, and after the sale.

  • Help maintain a polished, organized showroom that reflects the Torrco Design Center experience.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 2+ years of consultative sales experience preferred, ideally within kitchen and bath, luxury retail, home improvement, interior design, furnishings, building products, or a related industry.

  • Experience working with homeowners, interior designers, builders, contractors, or trade professionals is a plus.

  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.

  • An eye for design and an interest in premium products, materials, and finishes.

  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple clients, orders, and deadlines.

  • Comfortable learning and using sales, CRM, order-entry, and Microsoft Office systems.

  • Professional, dependable, and motivated to achieve sales goals.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, five-day-per-week position. Showroom hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The weekly schedule will fall within these hours and will include most Saturdays.

Compensation: Competitive hourly base pay, paid weekly, plus monthly commission based on sales performance.
