Education Or Experience Substitution

  • CMRT, CRL, Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, or Ultrasound certifications. • Rockwell, Siemens S7, or FANUC automation certifications. • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM). • Experience supporting capital projects, equipment installations, or commissioning activities.

Job Description

Staffmark is seeking a direct experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to serve as a technical expert and reliability leader within our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, equipment reliability, automation support, preventive and predictive maintenance, and mentoring maintenance team members.

The ideal candidate brings strong industrial maintenance experience and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, PLC, automation, servo, robotics, and control systems while partnering with Operations, Engineering, OEMs, and vendors to improve equipment reliability, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, automation, servo, robotics, and control systems.

  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and uptime.

  • Develop, maintain, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, start-up, and capital improvement projects.

  • Read, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot industrial networks, including EtherNet/IP, Profinet, VLANs, and managed switches.

  • Maintain electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution, VFDs, breakers, relays, and safety circuits.

  • Utilize CMMS systems to manage maintenance activities, work orders, equipment history, and inventory.

  • Train and mentor maintenance technicians, particularly in electrical, controls, automation, and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and requirements, including GMPs, LOTO, Arc Flash, NFPA, and NEC.

  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, OEMs, and vendors to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Support a strong safety culture and promote reliable, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations.
