We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

Schwab is building a next-generation Product Strategy organization to strengthen how we design, deliver, and manage products across Schwab brokerage, Schwab Bank, and Schwab Asset Management. Grounded in our Through Clients’ Eyes approach, the team connects enterprise priorities, product economics, and client outcomes through disciplined planning, analysis, and cross-functional partnership.

Reporting to the Director, Product Strategy & Business Operations, this role serves as a financial and analytical anchor for Product Strategy Operations. You will connect product decisions to revenue, expense, capital, balance sheet, and profitability outcomes; develop financial and business-case analyses; support product performance and pricing reviews; and translate competitive insights into strategic recommendations. Success requires strong analytical problem solving, sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate across Finance, Treasury, Product, Corporate Strategy, Business Data Management, and enterprise partners.

What you have

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or product/business finance, ideally within financial services, banking, wealth management, or asset management.

  • Familiarity with financial markets, investment products, or fintech ecosystems, with the ability and interest to deepen expertise over time.

  • Working knowledge of product economics, including pricing, margin dynamics, funding considerations, revenue and expense drivers, and profitability.

  • Demonstrated experience applying analytical and problem-solving skills to structure complex issues, evaluate alternatives, and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Experience using data-driven insights to support financial planning, business cases, product strategy, or investment decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and contribute to complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize financial and strategic analysis for decision-makers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.

  • MBA, CFA, or CPA.

  • Experience in business strategy, finance, treasury, economics, or a technology-related discipline.

  • Exposure to product strategy, pricing, platform strategy, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

  • Experience developing leadership-facing materials and supporting executive-level discussions.

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
