About the Role:

As a CBRE Finance Manager, you will apply cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to work with clients on a wide range of small to medium sized investments and tax strategies to better understand and understand the future of their assets.

This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for the maintenance of accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible and owner of the budgeting process ensuring alignment with contractual terms and targets; maintaining YoY growth and expected pull-through rates. Must have the ability to speak to all changes and any YoY variances

  • Responsible and owner of variance analysis through tracking and monitoring of financial performance. Must have the ability to bridge the gap between actuals vs budget vs forecast

  • Responsible and owner of forecasting with a target of +/- 5% on COP. Must have the

  • ability to speak to all deviations from original budget submission

  • Responsible for month-end close process, including but not limited to journal entries and flash submission with variance commentary

  • Manages PO and WO process from requisitions to completion, mitigating past due POs this includes tracking and vendor management

  • Provides financial commentary related to MTD & YTD results during AIQ meeting (Account Review) – calling out any known R&O

  • Responsible for client billing according to contract terms with proper documentation and uploading to client portal timely

  • Manages AR ensuring less than 10% of overdue receivables

  • Ensure all controls and audit compliance

  • Timely responses and meeting deadlines

  • Engage in regular communication with LATAM and Canada to support alignment on client needs and deliverables

  • Partnering with operations and management

  • Process improvements/ innovation

  • Understanding and utilizing Power BI

  • Respond and execute ad-hoc requests timely and accurately

  • Training, development and succession planning of direct reports, if applicable

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Finance Manager position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Finance Manager position is $140,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
