  • Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day

  • Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.

JOB SUMMARY

Analyzes large quantities of data and develops reports on the overall performance of business segments; develops metrics to measure various characteristics of the business | Combines a good level of understanding on how business operates with analytical ability to sift effectively through data available, overlaying all this with the technical competency to illustrate this analysis to senior level stakeholders and the wider business | Models advanced methods of combining charts, maps, timelines and infographics into comprehensible dashboards; may create visualizations of complex relationships and big data sets in a user-friendly and easy-to-understand way to facilitate business decision making

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Two (2) or more years Process engineering, planning experience in refining industry (Required)

  • No Licensure or Certification Required.

  • Implements monthly operating plan and operating strategies, reviews plant operations and laboratory analyses on a daily basis for better efficiency and compliance with operating plans

  • Tracks and analyzes deviations from operating plans both daily and monthly

  • Coordinates with commercial and other refineries on supply chain requirements, changes, and needs and optimizes intermediate stream dispositions, including quality, quantity, and inventory levels

  • Develops and optimizes product blend recipes to optimize refinery balances (octane, hydrogen, etc.), manage product specifications (benzene, sulfur, etc.), minimize giveaway, and meet production commitments

  • Supports process unit test runs and identifying constraints and for tuning of the LP model

  • Applies LP model for economic evaluation of operating scenarios, optimization of operating plans and back casting of operations
